Who is PA Big Trees.com?

Longfellow Pine at Cook Forest State Park.  This Eastern White Pine is the tallest tree in all of Northeastern United States at 182.5 feet tall, Clarion County

The Pennsylvania Forestry Association's Big Tree Committee, after several years of work, and help from countless volunteers, has published a 2006 issue of Big Trees of Pennsylvania.  You can find the information listed here, but please support the program by purchasing a copy for yourself.  Many of the trees have been revisited, and you will find many new trees that have been "found" recently.  We will continue to add new trees to the website for future editions of the book.  You can submit trees for consideration for champion status to this website.  In turn, trees that have National champion potential will be forwarded to American Forests.  www.americanforests.org
